Prerequisites for installing Exchange Server 2016

  • Functional level of your AD forest should be at least Windows Server 2008
  • The full installation option of Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2

Active Directory preparation

First, install .NET Framework 4.5.2 on the computer that will be used to prepare Active Directory.
  • Open Windows PowerShell.
  • Install the Remote Tools Administration Pack using the following command.
